The first song I translated from this album. It’s absolutely beautiful. A song from Sakuya’s point of view. The frequent use of sentence stops within the song’s lyrics seem to emphasize the heavyweighted feeling each of each thought Sakuya has, as if the words of this song are Sakuya narrating something to herself.

In the middle of the song clame (of Sun Flower Field) and liebe (of eph) voice act a conversation–I believe clame may be voicing Remilia and liebe voicing Sakuya, but I’m not 100% sure…

There’s a lot of references to coding language and math here;

  • 文字列 (mojiretsu) means String, as in a string of characters used as a variable in code (for that reason, I’ve capitalized it within the lyrics)
  • 数式 (suushiki) is a mathematical formula or expression
  • 虚数  (kyosuu) means “imaginary number.” Ai is sung instead of kyosuu in this song, and it is entirely possible that it is supposed to mean 愛 (ai / “love”) but… I’m more convinced the singer is singing the letter i–a common letter used to stand for an imaginary number.
