Title: moon light step
Circle: Liz Triangle x like a rabbit
Album: LR First Strike!
Arrange: kaztora
Lyric: azuki
Vocal: lily-an

An old song I loved a lot in younger days. The lyrics of this song give off a playful, curious, bittersweet kind of feeling, so I tried to carry that feeling over in the English lyrics.
Title: ネガポジ (Nega – Posi)
Arrange: kaztora
Lyric: azuki
Vocal: lily-an
Album: ポーカーフェイサー
Original: メイドと血の懐中時計 / フラワリングナイト (The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood / Flowering Night)
Thought I would do another song from the album featured last time, this time featuring an animated music video by Kokoro Yakoh and Joyfull (yes, the Osana Reimu joyfull I mentioned last post–small world!)
The general story told by the music video is that Sakuya suddenly finds herself accused of a string of terrible murders, and sets out to stop the perpetrator, “Jack the Ripper”… only to find out that the truth is far darker.
The title seems to echo a thematic “self vs the alter ego” struggle that the narrator goes through in the course of the lyrics.
Translation notes at the end.
Title: contact
Arrange: kaztora
Lyric: azuki
Vocal: lily-an
Circle: Liz Triangle
Album: ポーカーフェイサー
Original: 妖魔夜行 // 少女綺想曲 ~ Dream Battle (Apparitions Stalk the Night & Maiden’s Cappriccio ~ Dream Battle)

A partner song to “ありがとう” that also comes from this album. Both songs were featured at the end of 東方霊々夢 (Touhou Reireimu), the sequel to ジョイフル氏 / joyfull’s infamous “東方幼霊夢 / Osana Reimu” series.
I want to think the first song is told from Rumia’s perspective, and this song, “contact,” is from Reimu’s perspective–both “Little Reimu” and grown-up Reimu seem to express themselves simultaneously in the lyrics–and they’re both pretty adamant about not being left alone anymore!
The last two lines at the end (<You are here…>) are sung at the same time as the last stanza.
Title: Kappaの演奏会 (The Kappa’s Concert)
Arrangement: kaztora
Lyrics: kazuki

Album: 散花
Original: 芥川龍之介の河童 ~ Candid Friend (Akutagawa Ryuunosuke’s Kappa ~ Candid Friend)

An old song I did way back then. Thought I would revisit the lyrics!
A lot of words in this song use more complex words for what is sung; i.e. 白鳴琴 as “オルゴール” (orugooru) or “musical box.”
